Youth Volunteers Contribute Over $2.6 Million in Service Hours through "Volunteer for 15" Program

Kansas City, MO—Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC), in partnership with the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, is proud to announce the resounding success of its fourth annual “Volunteer for 15” program. This initiative, which encourages youth to dedicate at least 15 hours to volunteering in their communities, has mobilized nearly 2,000 youth across the United States, Canada, and Uganda to dedicate 80,446 service hours. This equates to more than $2.6 million in value to their communities.
